日的文章把“断桥残雪”放在西湖北部、白堤东端，并把它写成南宋西湖十景之一。白堤东西横接孤山和东北岸，把湖面分成南北两部分，所以站在这座桥上，南北水面会同时进入视野。同一篇文章把现在的桥写成单孔石拱，拱形半圆，条石砌筑，桥面是坡面、沥青铺面，长 8.8 米，宽 8.6 米，单孔净跨 6.1 米。2023 年 12 月 1 日的景区页用了同一组尺寸，并写 1921 年重建，现在的桥为 1941 年改建，1950 年代又经修饰。两页都是文旅局自己的说法，不能收成“每一块石头都来自同一年”。\n\n照片是 2025 年 5 月 5 日上午 8:21 的这座拱，下着雨，桥上的人打着伞。柳树向西延续，那就是接下来要走的堤。文件里没有 GPS。认它的依据是这一孔石拱和连下去的柳堤，并与 2023 年 6 月 29 日从荷塘一侧拍摄的同一座拱对照。“断桥残雪”是景名。2022 年的文章把如今最通行的说法写成雪后初晴：向阳的半边桥面化了，白链好像在这里断掉。五月的雨晨不是这个景。雪不在桥上等你。\n\n另外两件事要分开。文旅局把“段家桥”因读音变成“断桥”写成名称传说。它也把《白蛇传》写成中国四大民间传说之一，并说其中重要情节发生在这里。2023 年的页面补充了白娘子和许仙在此定情的相传。那是传说，不是施工记录，也不改变桥的跨度。\n\n东端北侧另有御碑亭。2022
